My Services.
What to Expect: I offer a brief free phone consultation to hear a bit about what is bringing you to therapy, understand your therapy goals, answer any questions you have, and to see if we are a good fit. During the first few sessions, I will go over the limits of confidentiality, the nature of the therapeutic relationship, and gather information on your unique history. During this time, I ask many questions about your background, intersectional identities, and any other information that helps me understand your therapeutic goals. I encourage you to trust your gut as we mutually assess the potential goodness of fit between us. Although frequency of sessions can change, I suggest meeting at least once weekly during the initial phase of treatment.
Teletherapy: I offer both in-person and Teletherapy options. For virtual therapy, I use a HIPAA compliant video conference system offered through Simple Practice. Clients are able to access a secure link to our sessions and can use a laptop or cell phone. For virtual sessions, I ask you to provide your location at the time of the meeting. If the internet goes out, we’ll switch to a phone call.
